Since its inception, La Bâtie has been a committed supporter of the local artistic scene across theatre, dance, circus and music. Today, the Festival is equally dedicated to playing a key role in promoting Geneva’s artists on the international and professional stage.

To give maximum visibility to the local creations presented during La Bâtie 2026, the Festival will shine a spotlight on Geneva’s artistic scene throughout its second week. Under the banner “Ici, c’est Genève!” (“This Is Geneva!”), this concentration of new works will take place primarily from 1 to 6 September, bringing together twelve multidisciplinary projects by twelve artistic teams in collaboration with a dozen cultural venues across the region.
