On one side is Partita for 8 Voices by Caroline Shaw, a landmark work in which timbres intersect, collide and combine in a fascinating feat of sonic architecture. On the other is Elevator Songs, created in collaboration with Gabriel Kahane, a sequence of musical narratives that sketches a mosaic of lives, eras and sensibilities.
