Fushitsusha 不失者JP
Music
There are bands you listen to. And then there is Fushitsusha, a band you experience like a storm. Led since the late 1970s by the unique Keiji Haino, one of the defining figures of Japanese experimental music, the trio has spent decades forging a radical body of work in which rock, psychedelia, free improvisation and noise merge into a single sonic detonation.
On stage, Fushitsusha does not perform songs so much as open fissures. Guitars rumble and roar, the bass digs deep into the ground beneath your feet, and the drums propel everything forwards in an unpredictable surge, somewhere between electric trance and controlled chaos. Each performance becomes a physical experience, a gradual escalation in which the sound seems to gather density until it consumes the entire space.
At L’Alhambra, the scale of the venue promises to give this extraordinary music all the room it needs to resonate at full force. A rare opportunity to encounter one of the most influential and elusive groups in the global underground — a band whose every appearance feels as much like a ritual as a concert.
