Some works are meant to be observed. Others are meant to be entered. With traverser être traversées, Julian Vogel’s installation Crescendo becomes a territory to explore: a landscape of tensions, textures and vibrations. It is within this extraordinary environment that Amanda Homa, Mélusine Lavinet-Drouet and Simone Aubert have created a fleeting encounter between movement, voice and sound.

Circus artist and performer Amanda Homa develops a sensitive practice centred on bodily transformation, thresholds and states of becoming. Alongside her, Mélusine Lavinet-Drouet creates shifting presences in which an acute attention to materials and movement opens up new modes of perception. Musician and sonic experimenter Simone Aubert, meanwhile, crafts organic soundscapes woven from friction, breathing and pulse.

Together, they enter Crescendo as one might move through an unfamiliar forest: attentive to resonances, instabilities and sudden impulses. An immersive experience in which the installation becomes instrument, refuge and playground, inviting audiences to slow down, tune in and surrender to the vibrations that surround them.
