The Pavillon stage welcomes Jamaican dancers and DJs Dynamic Legends, Mama Blazzaz, Miss Rose, Shanky Equanoxx and DJ Pappi, brought together by Spanish choreographer Tamara Alegre. Committed, festive and generous, the stage gradually transforms into a dance floor to celebrate dancehall, a cultural and political movement that originated in the working-class neighbourhoods of Kingston in the late 1970s. They will rock the stage with their music and dancing to express the joy, anger and pride of their daily struggles and triumphs. A celebration of the playful spontaneity of dancehall, whose unifying force and raw beauty transform the margins into the centre.
For the Premiere of the show on Thursday the 11th a workshop is organized with the legendary Shanky Equanoxx at 18:30 !
